Rock music

On one and the same night, three high-energy rock proposals with lyrics well worth listening to. A triple intense and fun rock concert where every word is loaded with wit and sarcasm.

Cheetos´s Magazine is a band from Barcelona that is into modern progressive rock. Sure, you’ll hear lots of echoes of classic prog rock but they have a contemporary style all of their own and their in-your-face and somewhat eccentric live concerts are full of energy and lots of humour.

Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Cachimba is the highly original name of a sextet from Seville whose DNA is composed of two dominant genes: that kinki component that makes Andalusian rock music what it is, and a psychedelic component imposed by fuzz. That’s how they came by their own particular style which has been baptised as “kinkidelia”.

Also from Seville, Pony Bravo acknowledges the influences of 1970s Andalusian rock (Silvio, Triana, Veneno), groups such as Radio Futura and Derribos Arias, and a curious mishmash of references from different eras and trends (electronic music, low-fi, funk and afro-funk productions, 90s hip-hop base lines, exotic music, or 1980’s new wave…). And as if that wasn’t enough, the entire concert will be imbued with a healthy and constant dose of corrosive humour.

* We’re also expecting a special intervention by Philippe Quesne’s giant moles (>La nuit des taupes)
